Don't want a beep beep type, just need to be able to see if anyone decides to walk behind me when I'm reversing. Mechanic suggested one fitted just above rear bumper but I've seen them fitted higher, near the roof line. Which is best? Thank you, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for that. I'll email the link to the mechanic and see what he says.

The wife standing at the back of the van… works well in all weather 👍👍👍
Also does a great impression of a windmill on steroids :imoutahere:

If you have a video input into your head-set, then any reasonable quality camera will work ok. LEDs or IR a bonus, although this one Ebay works very well with minimal light. Looks good on a 1920hd screen. Still need the wife though because there is always a post or something you dont see on camera!

These Camos Jewel Cameras are a brilliant piece of kit. Not cheap though !
unfortunately RoadPro are some distance from Norfolk, so you may not wish to travel that far even though their service is second to none.

RoadPro will supply the kit only, from their catalog, if you can fit the camera yourself.
They also give a small discount to forum members. (Not sure if this only applies if they fit the equipment ? )

I am looking at the camos Newell v2, is it possible to switch between views manually without having to go into reverse? There are times when it would be useful to monitor trailors etc or when maneuvering in tight aires etc.

I think that is the same with most cameras?

What have you got?
Have the standard twin lenses on the back of the van that has a separate monitor so I can view behind me when travelling it also shows the floor when in reverses, also have a Camos 360 system for when things get a bit tight😬😬
