Can anyone identify this?

My 2022 Peugeot panel van has these plastic cases at the back/bottom of both seats. They swing up and have electric cables going into them. Maybe something to do with the seat airbags?

storage under the driver and spare wheel tools under passenger. cables are for seat belt warning and yellow one for air bag pre tensioner
