I have a 2022 Adria Twin which has two side flush windows that open on side runners that click into 3 open positions as you open it upwards.
To close them you raise the window to its maximin opening and then it is supposed to close back down on the two side runners without engaging any of the 3 open positions.
Mine won’t close down unless I lubricate the runners. Then they work but after a relatively short time they revert to catching again. I use a WD40 dry PTFE lubricant spray to do the job.
I don’t find the need to open them onto the catches that often so it’s not a bind but if I couldn’t close them down again it obviously would be and it appears I can’t just force them down on the runners.
Does anyone know why they do this and is there a better way to prevent it or reduce my having to apply lubricant?
I’ve attached a photo and a video. Thanks in anticipation someone here will know about this
