Can anyonegive me a draft of the wiring changes around the split charge relay as I am fitting a Votronic Triple DC/DC charger.
The other issue is to disable the Sargent relay for fridge on 12v etc. I have the original wiring diagram for the Scout (Apache same) and also the Votronic diagram.
Happy to pay someone to give me the right info.
Cheers

I think someone disabled their split charge relay without disabling the fridge on 12v which may be a way to consider. I’ll try to find the post and edit this with a link

this help, think it’s the same charging system. They found the relays near the starter battery

good luck

In the MH wiring diagram, the two relays in the top left are the fridge relay and the split charge relay.

To disable the split charge relay (the right-hand relay of the two) remove Fuse 3 (20A, labelled Leisure Battery). The relay will still click on and off, but it won't do anything.

From the other thread, the entire relay was removed by unplugging, which is another way to stop the relay from working, but just removing that fuse should be sufficient.

Disabling the fridge relay (the left-hand relay of the two) is similar, just remove Fuse 2 (15A labelled Fridge). Not sure why you would want to do that, but removing that fuse will do it. However that will also disable the step auto-retract and possibly the starter battery voltage display, so a different method my be required if you want to keep those functions. I think it will also disable the 'EMC Relay' function, that switches off all the habitation circuits when the engine is running, so maybe on second thoughts pulling that 15A fuse may not be a good idea.
