Can 2021 Roller team 747 charge vehicle battery on ehu or will I need Van blitz for storage when not in use; the van sits on my drive.
Apologies ahead of your answers, I did look at previous threads but didn't see any that directly answered my question.

Lots of posts mentioned charging the vehicle battery from solar .. then needing something like van blitz ..but I was asking for charging starter battery( without removing it) on vehicle from ehu over winter.

Hi Paul
some MHs have a selector switch to change which battery is charged, alternatively get a VanBitz battery master and it will keep the starter battery charged up automatically from the leisure battery whilst on EHU

Hmmm, ... bit cheeky, but do you have to set buttons to make it happen !?

Not all vans charge starter batteries from solar or ehu. Plug it in, measure the starter voltage and see if it is getting a charge. If not, a Battery Master is the way to go.

No, totally automatic, once the leisure battery is charged it sends 1A or 2A to the starter battery, its only got 3 wires, 1 each to both batteries and a common negative

Hi its all done automatically with no input from yourself.

pwilmo ,If your PSU is a Sargent EC176 with a EC362 control panel it normally charges the leisure battery and will have manual selection for charging of the starter battery , a Van bitz battery master (or similar ) will be needed to keep the starter battery charged (if you want it done without having to change the battery to be charged yourself when on EHU )
