Campsites near cherbourg

Heading to Northern France for first time in 2 weeks very shortly using Dublin Cherbourg route. Bit nervous about driving etc so looking for a nice campsite within say 30 miles of Cherbourg port to allow us a couple of days to get our bearings etc. Happy to pay a premium rate. Was going to buy an ACII card just in case we don’t choose to use many aires for this first trip. Thanks!

Years ago we stayed on a site at a place I think it was called Le Pieux which I think translates as ‘the stink’
