Hello we are planning our September travels and would like to stay at Cromer for a few weeks - dog friendly sites. Traveling in a motorhome.
Any recommendations appreciated 😀

Both clubs have sites near Cromer. Seacroft within easy walking distance, Incleborough Fields and West Runton further out with a bus on the main road but we walked from the latter to town on a good path (passing Manor Farm en route).

We have stayed Woodhills Park a few times. Being a big site it can be a bit too busy for us during the school holidays.
Nice walk into Sheringham or Cromer via the coast path.

Tip: those Norfolk roads are not particularly good for motorhomes, and the parking along the north Norfolk coast is not great. Strongly recommend the Hopper Bus that runs a regular service between Cromer and Wells.

Many thanks will definitely take your advice

Stayed at Woodhill Park few years back, first site we'd ever had with a serviced pitch. The boys were camping nearby while we gathered around the van to get the barbie going. It started raining then a bit of a wind blew up and it slowly got worse when the 5 year year old turned to his Dad and said "our tent's blown down". We went to rescue that while watching several awnings tearing away from caravans with absent owners. Deciding we couldn't all sleep in the van we moved to their sister site at Kelling Heath. Still blowing a hooly and putting the tent up in the dark, I turned the van to light up the scene and promptly got stuck on the grass. Managed to get off and park up for the night but the state of our pitch when we left next day was a sight to behold. We daren't go back. :(

Woodlands at Sheringham https://www.woodlandscaravanpark.co.uk/ not far from Cromer and with frequent coast bus service outside and lots of walks through woods and Sheringham Park , all grass but firm in the wet with hook up .

Have stayed at woodhill Park a couple of times, outwith school holidays, think we had crab most days🤣 some lovely walks too, would happily go back.

Don't know about Cromer sites but if you want to drive the coast road going north of Cromer there are plenty of lovely villages & pubs, dog friendly beaches (see Holkham beach) A nice stop a bit further on is Burnham Market with a basic but good CL site 5mins walk from shops & restaurants

Roads are bloody tight along that coast but a fabulous area,
A easy sort of site is Forest Park 20 minutes walk to Cromer with good facilities.

We’ve used this CCC CS easy walk to beach an Cromer

Mention of the coast road being tight in some places is correct. When we do go to Woodhill Park we approach from the Cromer direction. Any other trips out we use the bus as a return after a walk.
Walking to Sheringham along the coast path does involve one steep hill but the views from the top whist recovering are worth it.

Thank you all for your advice about campsites at Cromer and lovely walks along the sea front as well as modes of travel. Planning to book something this weekend so all being well we will be good to go in September ☀️ Have a great weekend 😀
