Hi
I posted a while back as we are going away for our first MH holiday to France and Spain in the summer with our children. Everyone was so helpful I have now subscribed because I have so many questions whizzing around in my head.
We’re away for nearly five weeks and plan to see where our travels take us but we would like to book a campsite for the end so that we have a few days to relax before heading home.
I’m looking for a campsite in the Bilbao/Santander/San Sebastian area that ideally has the following:
- pool
- close to beach
- public transport links to neighbouring cities
Google has confused me more than helped. Does anyone have a recommendation please?
Thanks in advance
Lorna

Camping Orio, at Orio near San Sebastián and Caravaning Oyambre Cantabria near Santander, but perfect for the bus to Comillas and Santillana del Mar, 2 fantastic places to visit.

I can confirm the Oyambre beach area is in a great setting (well all that coastline seems spectacular), we know someone who lives just inland from there. It is actually possible to walk or cycle into Comillas as that stretch of road is fairly flat, but lots of hills if you go in a different direction. It's a shame there isn't a Comillas Feve station - you have to go inland to Cabezon or further along the coast to San Vicente (another place worth visiting).

Orio has the train to San Sebastián or Bilbao about 20 min walk into & out of the town & is next to the beach

Thank you both for your advice. I’m sorry for the delay, I didn’t think anyone had replied!
