Just joined this group on Facebook,
What a great initiative!
Really enjoy what they are doing, seems this part of the web has some thing to do with it!
Didn’t know that!

How does it work, can I recommend? Or suggest places?

Most are being issued the exemption certificate by Motorhome fun 👍. It's been gathering pace for a while. Scotland and the NC500 seem to have benefited a lot.

They are doing fantastic work so making a contribution to their crowd funding page would be a great start. 👍

One we have used is the livestock market at Louth, Linc's. Currently just hardstanding parking, an elsan is to be installed ( funded via Campra I understand) just taking time due to council dragging their feet. Nice town for a walk around, weekly markets, Aldi, Asda and Morrisons. Wetherspoons as well as several other pubs. 👍👍

Sorry I missed this thread but I've been away in moho staying at some of the MotorhomeFun/CAMpRA assisted stopovers/aires. Can I just clarify how it works.
CAMpRA has 31500 members who campaign throughout UK for improved facilities.
Interested individuals/businesses complete an online MotorhomeFun Exemption Application Form. That is passed to CAMpRA by Jim (Funster 1)
CAMpRA carry out a site inspection, get photographs, liaise with Planning Officers etc and submit to Jim who reviews the detail, and if satisfied, issues an Exemption Certificate.
An Exemption Certificate is for 12 months, auto renewable subject to annual site inspection, and satisfactory details being submitted by owner, reviews etc. The Certificate permits the parking of up to 5 motorcaravans without the need for planning permission. Infrastructure, ground works etc may still require planning permission.
CAMpRA also created a waste point fund for the safe, legal disposal of black waste.
I am a CAMpRA member. I am neither a Director nor member of the Leadership Team, but I do handle most of the Exemption Applications in Scotland.
If this interests you, why don't you join CAMpRA https://www.facebook.com/groups/campra.uk and assist the effort?

I am hoping that more viewers see Cameron McNeish and his BBC programme, The Road Less Travelled, its very interesting, and he is a good producer/journalist.
For those that know him he discusses the pro's & Cons of Camper Vanning, and also heavily promotes CAMPRA, he takes issue with local authorities about providing more facilities for touring vans etc.
He is doing a great job in spreading the word, giving the story from all sides.(y)
I joined CAMPRA a couple of years back, I am not on Face Ache or Twatter though, just e-mail, or MH Fun.
Many thanks to all those involved in setting up & arranging even more sensibly priced overnight stay options.
