Hello. Going onto Anglesey following our visit to Auto Sleeper at Gloucestershire for a few tweaks to our Kingham. Any recommendations for places and sites on way? Once we arrive at Anglesey, any recommendations for campsites there and for the odd night to wild camp if necessary.
Cannot believe how quickly the Caravan and Motorhome are upping their prices. We stayed at Ferry Meadows in March and it was nearly £33. We looked to go there next week and it is now £35 and not even high season😡.
As it is now getting warmer and we won’t be using so much electricity, is there any justification to keep putting it up? Many families with children will soon not be able to afford these prices plus their fuel.
we have a lovely park near us with a nice small campsite owned by the Council. OK their facilities are not fantastic but adequate and clean and only £20 a night. No charge for kids and a £1 each for dogs.

If you can manage without swimming pools, restos, laundrette etc. have you looked on the various apps; including Search4Sites, Camperstop. Park4Nite, Pitchup...... ?

It would be good to have personal recommendations. Places to bike, walk the dogs and a
good pub for somewhere to eat.

Camper vibe you tubers have just been to Anglesey. Said wild camping almost impossible, lots of places that had been available now have no overnight parking signs. They also said you had to really search for sites at a reasonable price. They quoted one, no electricity, £40

We stayed at Bryn Ednyfed Caravan Site at the end of March. We'd use it again.
Bus to Holyhead passes the front gate and the RAF any keep plane spotters amused.

We,re currently in South Wales at the mo on our first proper road trip in ours and I've been shocked at how expensive it all is. Currently paying £35 a night inc dog and that doesn't even include electric hook up! Snowdonia area is even worse, albeit our site in Llanberis that I've booked is fully serviced and we can go hike up Snowden from site, without having to pay for car parking so that's a bonus 😂

You could try Brynteg Glamping just outside Benllech. They have lodges, eco domes and spaces for motorhomes and caravans. Nothing fancy but elec hook up / water / grey drainage with no extra charges and the on-site toilets and showers are warm and very clean. Elsan disposal on site too and dogs are welcome.

We have stayed there often both in the MH and the lodges and always had a good time. Owners Gary and Sally are real nice folk.

Not on Anglesey but, if you enjoy peace and quiet, great walking and a good pub you could try Bracdy CS near Bodfari, £18 per night last time we were there.

It's C & C Certified Site, but you can book on if you say you are "interested" in joining.

Tell Rich that Red sent you if there's an issue.

Cheers
Red.
