Hi there fonts of all knowledge.

I'm going to France in May for 3 weeks and would like to make provision to connect camping gaz 907 to my Calor propane set up , as a 'just in case ' i plan to travel with 2 full 6kg propane cylinders so shouldn't run out,is there an adapter to connect camping gaz to the propane hose to run through the bulkhead regulator?or is it not possible.

Many thanks Steve.

If there is a possibility of running out of 12 kg propane, I don't think a 907 would last you long....I understand your need to back up in case...but a French larger cylinder could provide an alternative...something like a Cube...just an idea..

Yes you can, you need an adaptor like this.

Depending on your frequency of overseas trips and the amount of gas you consume, a longer term solution would be refillable gas cylinders. Over time, they will pay for themselves with pumped LPG being a fraction what Calor charge. If you are always on hookup and use minimal gas then it's probably not economic.

Not necessary, butane works just fine in standard motorhome systems. Only caveat is that butane "boils off" at a higher temperature, (around 5C?) so if the temperature around the bottle is below that then you may have a problem.
