Just a couple of days here, nice campsite, amenities it does have them. Electric boxes are plentiful but some are dubious as to their condition, toilets look nice on the outside but once inside a feeling of disappointment does overcome you, they don’t look that clean, but to be fair they probably were coming up for their bi-annual clean. Restaurants mobbed over the weekend with scores of locals, so the food must be good. On a plus side it’s an easy peasy cycle into Burgos, which is is fantastic place to visit and unwind at a bar or restaurant looking over the cathedral. Will deffo visit Burgos again in the future.

We have overnighted at the campsite a couple of times off-season, on our way south after landing at Santander.

It fitted the bill for us too, but probably wouldn't choose a particularly extended stay on the site.

I couldn’t agree more, shame really as access to Burgos is very easy and there are lots of walks and cycle paths to investigate.

Yes, you can cycle, walk and bus it into Burgos. A great position, but does not seem to have to take advantage of that, as it is still well used. Although generally for one or two nights only.

We’ve stayed there twice, once on our way from Santander to Benicassim and again o our return as we had to have Covid tests before departure (2021). We didn’t think the food was too great and the site could definitely do with modernising. Ok for a night but wouldn’t want much longer there. Great cycle path into Burgos though and for me that’s a bonus as I don’t (won’t) cycle on main roads.
