We were meant to stay here for 3 nights, but bailed after 2. On arrival we drove down tent city which looked like a refugee camp. Our pitch was a sandy muddy pitch which we did level off eventually( it rained quite a bit and we were worried we wouldn’t get out.) Some Spaces were really a bit tight and very lumpy bumpy. The site was unkempt and untidy, the facilities were clean and tidy. The reception staff weren’t very helpful and weren’t forthcoming with info about the area. Not a bad site if you have dogs as they have a bit of a forest on camp. Popular with the locals apparently. Most expensive site to date 40euro with 2 doglets.

You liked it there then

It seems your not the only one…😎

“‘’’I couldn’t rate this site any lower, if I could I would. The staff were casually friendly initially, as we checked in, then they all but disappeared. They advertise things that look great, but after paying 50% more than far superior sites in Spain we expected far more. When we explained that we didn’t appreciate the filth, the fact that the place was like a deserted refugee camp, the graffiti in the washrooms, the bar/restaurant being closed, reception being closed for most of the time, the electric being 6amp, the dishwashing facilities having no lighting etc etc, we were met with hostility.
We were so angst, we left the caravan and stayed in a hotel the 3rd night. We left the following morning and explained we thought we had paid enough with our 50% deposit, to be told they would ‘claim’ it anyway. So we left believing they were taking the money from our credit card whether we liked it or not.
We were just a few hundred metres down the road whe a large guy from the site, pulled us over in our ‘getaway’ vehicle (car and nearly 2 ton caravan). He was excessively aggressive, shouting and pudshing finger towards my wife’s face through the open window. He was demanding we return to complete the payment,it was very difficult to communicate through his rage, we were trapped, he said he was calling the police, which we welcomed.

He didn’t, he called for backup, the receptionist and another big fellow arrived from the camp, and we were coerce into paying €50 cash balance on the roadside, fearing that either our car, caravan or us were in danger of having damage inflicted. Very unfortunate.”’’’

I wish I had known that before I booked as the reviews we read were mostly favourable. We weren’t charged for our third night, we got off lightly then. Shan’t be returning or recommending.
