Hi Funsters

We have been to France recently and have been using the Camping Car membership we have for staying overnight and it is really good, the only thing is is that the map is now very well used and not sure if members of Camping Car get a new map for 2024 or do we requests another one.

Another question for you as well, there seems to be a shortage of road maps and atlases for the continent in shops, i have looked in my local area but it seems that there is nothing, any ideas, i have looked on line but i really like to look inside a map before i buy so it is the correct one for me to use, the sat nav is ok but has lead us down some very small roads so having a map has been better in these situations.

If you mean campingcarpark they have excellent directions via your own satnav or Google maps in the app.

We stayed in our first CCP this year and it was very straightforward. Our map is very out of date so used the app.

Assuming you do mean the map of Camping Car Parks, you can buy paper versions at https://www.campingcarpark.shop/ - they used to have them available free at some CCPs, but that was several years ago. But like others we find the app pretty straightforward.

Given the expansion of the network, my map which I bought at the beginning of the year is out of date already.

I used 11 on my last trip and used the app all the time , you need the app as its live and to check on spaces and it's worth paying for the privileges packs o you can book on the day or pre book a place.
