Hi,

I've been away for two days, the weather a bit cold so inside on the cab side windows and front screen we got quite a bit of condensation, do you think using one of this would help or not to waste my money.

I think from the many, many reviews over the years, that yes they are worth having, especially if you are static for a few days, the keep the heat in in winter, out in summer, I guess with savings made on LPG they would pa for themselves over time.
Question is....What make to go for?, long ones or short ones?.
I would opt for the longer ones that cover the bonnet scuttle, and maybe also Paragon Silver Screens, apposed to some others.
Here's a link to what others have said before, hope it works.

First trip away since the Memsahib bought me a long Taylormade external cover for Christmas.

Very pleased with it - stops the condensation on the windscreen in the morning. Easy to fit. Takes up a bit of space in the garage, but now we've jettisoned the genetic payloads we have plenty of space.

Yes, definitely a good investment. I originally bought a window vac to take care of the condensation problem, but the more I looked into silver screens, I was intrigued.

I bought a second hand silver screen from a Funster on here for my camper van and what a massive difference in the colder months. It also darkened the cabin up lots too, especially in the Summer months. I've since upgraded to a motorhome and it was one of the first things I ordered for it. I think I paid about £179 on ebay for it, but well worth the money.

Totally agree we have been using our silver screen for the last 14 years(sameone).
the problem can be storage when wet, but if you have a garage not a issue.
When we arrive at a place in the winter we are going to stay at, we put them on ASAP as it insulates the cab area.

If your buying a set of external screen covers don’t penny pinch and buy cheapies , because they are not as thermally efficient as the better quality makes such as Taylormade , Silverscreens or Polar Technology’s
Which will keep the condensation away and keep the warmth in

All my screens/wraps have waterproof bags. 👌

Definitely, polar screen works very well at both keeping heat in and condensation out. In the summer they will reduce heat in van.
