Campervan day parking in Beeston near Nottingham?

Hi. Can anyone please recommend daytime parking for a 6 m campervan near the centre of Beeston (the Nottingham one)? We are meeting relatives on a Saturday afternoon at the Commercial Inn, but local parking looks tricky. We will move on elsewhere for the night. Thanks!

Alongside the canal at Beeston Rylands,some stay overnight there ,pub nearby too.
Used to keep my canal barge there in summer so i know the place well.
