Hi Funsters,
How many have braved the weather to join us ?
Bit wet but still ready for fun ☔☔🥳🥳

Where are you ?

No idea what your on about :wink:

Is it maybe something off another site where they camped out on their driveways during covid.. ?

Apart from the pizzas being a rip off and the last 2 acts on Sunday being the wrong way round, a great good value weekend and even managed to get out without assistance this morning! Will return next year.

I found out more about the delightful pizza stand it seems the guy who owns it dumped the 2 guys with the stand with no money for themselves barely any float and worse still neither spoke English and he knew it !!
Bit callous as people kept getting the wrong food because they just didn’t understand - then they struggled to get the stand off!!
Felt sorry for all those who got stuck.

We were there, at least the weather was better than last year. Had a great time, will go again next year

Oh sorry I didn't see this on weekend as wasn't on here much. We were the van next to the bloody elsan by the entrance for vans on day 1. Not ideal, but we were with friends in the Rapido next door so wasn't all bad.

We thankfully got off onto hardstanding by 7:30am on the Monday so didn't get stuck (both of us) but if we had woke up later we would have been in trouble. Luckily we had seen the forecast and packed up the van before the storm, and went up to the Cambridge CACC site for a brief visit/reckie on way home (we stayed one night - will go again as it's near the hospital which is useful for some medical issues we both have).

Should add both of us are rebooking for 2025, highly enjoyable weekend, nice price, and the music, food and stalls were excellent whilst not being too busy or overcrowded at all.

We moved onto hard standing as well at about 7.30am, other friends did as well but the third couple didn’t and got stuck! We were also next to a tugger unit that had a generator on most of the time 🤦🏻‍♀️

In that regard we were lucky no generators in site around our area, lots of solar panels on long cables though! Also only one tugger in our direct sight, it was all motorhomes, PVC or VW buses with a single tent in our off grid area. Oh and dogs, lots of dogs -> our dog had one period off lead playing with another young pup for about an hour on the Sunday which he enjoyed no end, but asked to go to bed warly as was knackered, so we had to miss some/most of the sunday entertainment but thankfully could still hear across the site.

Finished 5 nights off grid with 20% battery remaining (we stopped off-grid on Monday too). (Thurs -> Mon) on our ecoflow, mostly down to solar being rubbish this weekend, need more panels our 100W one doesn't handle inclement weather well, but does give the 60-90W when it's sunny. The van battery faired better just running lighting and the pump, and could easily have gone another 5 days.
