Thank you, I have been researching this area for our trip starting in May travelling from San Sebastian to La Linea so this is very helpful, only travelled the coast before and looking to spend some time inland.

This is a too often bypassed part of Spain by us. Always searching for the south and sunshine. On the few occasions we have stopped in Basque country, the people have been very friendly and helpful although I may still give Irun a miss where it seems always to be on the verge of raining.
