Calais to Croatia via ?

Off on Sunday heading towards Croatia. Via ?

Van is 3.8.

I would really like to avoid the tolls and go boxes etc.
Any ideas if it is possible or have I put my short arms into my deep pockets.

What go boxes or vignette will i need and for which countries.

I’m out here now, from Calias I put in on the garmin (settings avoid tolls) lake bled where we were staying for a few days and just followed it. Looked on Campercontact for over night stops on the way.... went through France, Luxembourg, Germany and Austria into Slovenia without any problems at all.....

Austria ? Did it keep you off motorways avoiding a Go box .We are 5.5 ton and set off in three weeks thinking to avoid Austria.

We are 4.25 ton.....

We came round Strasbourg on the A8 and camped at Radstadt for the night then on to Lake bled, a lovely road with some great scenery....

I never do tolls anywhere as we are never in a hurry and we get to see the real country 25k in 3yrs never had a problem..

It can be done! We are in Rabac Croatia. France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany , Austria, Italy , Slovenia and into Croatia all toll free . We are 3.8 t. Came through Austria on the 182 , folllowed the toad from Mittenwald to Vipiteno. It does say that 182 is restricted to 3.5t but that is just lorries . Easy road . Spectacular scenery . Enjoy !

Yes and expecting lots more tonight and tomorrow. Heading to plitvice at weekend do hope settles by then . They have had a lot of rain so hopefully spectacular waterfalls .
