Caceres Nature Camper Stop, Canaveral, Extramadura

A brief review on the newly enlarged and updated Caceres Nature, Camper Stop Extramdura, Spain. We went for 2 nights and stayed 4, very quiet well laid out with terrific views to the West over the National Park. Facilities are new and very good, toilets are unisex, shower costs 1 Euro, wifi is free and very fast. Ehu is 6 amp, freshwater we were told is Potable so OK for tea, coffee etc. There is a free to use microwave, a small lounge to sit in and picnic tables and chairs. Site is on the edge of town, 10 minutes walk into centre, it is very quiet and peaceful no road noise at night and secure as it is gated. Downloading the Pverde app allows easy payment by credit card and gives you your own access code for the electronic gate keypad. Alternatively on arrival press intercom buttom and they open gate for you and payment can be made in cash when the young lady arrives at 6pm (ish, its Spain) to check everyones vehicle reg then she cleans the facilities. All in all we were well impressed and will use it again. There are some great walks within minutes of leaving the site.
