Into our forth week here in Cabopino. So I would like to convey my thanks to everyone who offered advice regarding concerns about my dog travelling on the overnight ferry and obtaining a data sim.
My dog seemed to cope very well in the motorhome, but I think I will avoid this situation in the future.
I obtained my data sim from El Zoco and we have no issues.
A word about Nationwide Flexplus insurance: I needed treatment for bursitis in my left hip, as I could hardly walk for the pain. The clinic in Calahonda was excellent.
I paid €460 for the consultation, an x-ray and two anti inflammatory injections along with some painkillers. I then contacted Aviva to claim my expenses and the money was back in my account in about three days.
The only problem I am left with, is that I made a mistake when I applied for the travel extension with Aviva. I entered a return date of the 14th of March instead of the 14th of April. A daft mistake on my own behalf.
Aviva have said that the date cannot be amended because I have already made a claim. The boss isn't happy, but I don't think there is anything I can do
