Help needed Please my cab blind on my 2009 Fiat Ducato the hinged part has broken Q is it possible to repair and where can I order them from will try and attach photo

A mate of mine has 2 blinds surplus I think of that era. A photo would help him establish if they are the same

Yes, just repaired one on ours, assuming it’s the same hinge (2015 reg). The part is this from Leisure Shop Direct - it’s a pain because you’re paying £31 for a kit of which you only need one small part! I believe you can just buy the part from someone in France who 3d prints them?

There’s a YouTube video here showing how to repair it - not as bad as he makes it seem, in my experience. Love how he says whatever you do don’t glue new part in, and then does precisely that! The worst part is drilling out the plastic of the broken hinge piece, but we didn’t need to glue the new part in - it took gentle hammering to get it in.

Try Paulandandcrissy, he is the 3D printer man. He made some of the hinges for me as I had the same problem, worked perfectly.

Sorry for the delay in answering but have had personal problem however here is a photo of the blinds if your friend still have them and they are the same what price is he looking for

Yes Paul I have spoken to my mate re photos etc but he hasn’t got back to me yet.

I’ve just spoke to my mate and he hasn’t checked the packaging yet to see which model of Ducato the blinds are for but he seems to be swinging towards an X250 model but he said he would have a mooch in the parcel tomorrow to see what he can find.

Paul, my mate has just confirmed that the blinds are for an X290 up to 2014. Unsure if they would fit your van
