Buzzing from EBL 99

Just gone to plug moho in on ehu to get fridge to cool.There is a buzzing coming from the ebl 99.It also makes the frost protection valve open.Everything works fine on 12v,buzzing only happens when on 240.
I had the ebl 99 serviced 2 years ago.
Any ideas

Now that I think of it .Last time we were away the frost valve popped for no reason.Maybe that was the start of the problem

A buzzing from the EBL could be coming from the inbuilt charger, I think it is the only mains powered part of the unit. You could unplug the EBL without affecting other mains functions. The frost protection valve is probably a separate problem, the newer ones are mechanical and the older ones are 12V powered.
