Suggestions wanted please for best place to go to get a new set of tyres for the Campervan. We are on the ferry in April and I was going to get them here before travelling but it has been suggested that much cheaper in Spain.
Size 225/75 R16

Load rating 118/116 R on alloys

I am looking at the Falken Allseason Van11. (£125 each fitted with Black Circles)

Can someone look online for me? Santander ferry and no route selected yet!
jumar Peavy gus-lopez etc.

Following as I’m likely to buy tyres this spring too…

Edit: ideally Costa Calida and north along the Spanish coast for me!

Sorry to jump in on your thread Annie! 😇

We used Tyre King at Antas near Vera last year, they were very helpful, ordered ours in, good price - oh and they are English so no language issues. They are a couple of doors down from Hispanavan
Tried to attach a link but it didn't work 🤷

If passing Andorra...that's where my friends go who live in Barcelona...but here in Murcia....there are many options
225/16c/75R Michelin cross climate cost me 205€ per wheel..fitted..use this as a guide..

I've been doing some research recently, as my van is going to be 40000km and 3 years old this year.
What I've found out is that price is around 1000€ all included for the 4 tyres.
Best options are Norauto or Feuverd, but there are more available and price is not going to change much.
This research is about Michelin Agilis, Crossclimate, or Continental VanContact Camper CP tyres.

Interesting, Black Circles price around £250 depending on which ones you purchased. So I got my euros at 1.20 to the pound so would be 300 € here so a significant saving to be had.

I'd like to give a 'shout-out' for the Falkens.
I had them fitted in February and the 1st drive was down to Calpe. I have never weighed the van so using the max axle weights as a very rough guide, I set them at 60psi (that's a bit higher than the Falken chart).
The ride/noise/comfort has been bloody excellent.
I'm now going to play around lowering the pressure to the Falken recommendation!

Ps. When I got mine ProTyre/Mitchelldever were the cheapest @ £560

I could only find the right size for the Falkens at Protyres for £125 fitted, as you say not listed on Black Circles. Not that keen on our local Protyres place. I assume asking for steel valves and of course balancing will be extra.
