The biggest show of the year, more stands, more motorhomes, more everything. What have you been saving up for? What toys do you need/desire?

I spent up at Newark, but I am looking for a good price on external windscreen cover, trouble is, very often that "Special Show Price" is only special to the seller! But that's about it. Are you buying or just there for a beer?

Having failed miserably to buy something totally useless at Newark I shall have to try harder at Peterborough

You'll be spoiled for choice at Peterborough:Smile:

Sellling.
Lynn and Stacey have just started selling Fragrance Lamps. So as we were going to Peterborough they decided to have a stall.
Hopefully they sell something and I will get some of my money back.

I'm after a flagpole so I can [STRIKE]stick it up JJ[/STRIKE] show the flag and maybe an end panel wind break thingy for the awning (free poles at the show)

I've learnt fairly quickly you need to know the price outside the show before you fall for the "special show offers". Gennies for one, not much to see at Newark but Kipors were cheaper outside. Some of the specialist stuff, air suspension, solar panels, remapping can be a good buy with on site fitting but you need time in the van on the laptop before parting with your money.

The third side to the wind break nets, a collapsible bucket thing to carry the washing up in, maybe a couple of Alco chassis type put down legs to stop the van a rockin !

Looks like the windblocker stand'll be busy!!
That's what we're after aswell :thumb:

cheers....nige

Self abuse is good at any age !!

:Rofl1:

And when I start swinging that whip during the flagellation sessions the whole damned van starts moving !

You will all be welcome at the Johns Cross and Fiamma stand, but please take yer boots off if you go in any of Lawrences vans :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

after much deliberation about buying a Van V House to rent, we opted for a house to rent, so will be buying for our beautifall van. We are awaiting the WOW tuning once in a lifetime show stopping remap offer, I have emailed him but awaiting price and my 50% funster discount

A water container for my new external water pump I now have.

Maybe some seat covers, but maybe not,

Some Fenwicks motorhome cleaner,

A new rope choke dog lead,

Oh, and lastly I am just awaiting that special funster to offer me some used Remis interior cab blinds at a sensible price for a 2005 Ducato and not the unbelieveable price quotes for new ones.

Oh nearly forgot,,,

as well as all the above, my plan is to share a drink with friends but not too much as need to have a run for a few miles on the Sunday morning.

and maybe just maybe,

A Fragrance Lamp at a very special Funster price:Wink:

In a serious attempt to stop myself from spending even more money with the accessory dealers this year I plan to avoid their stands by only looking at motorhomes for sale...

JJ

Don't you believe it, I think the opposition will have their minds on other things and will be there for the taking. Check my flags after 7.00pm.

Top of my list is a new gas lighter as ours has gone kaput - Ed would rest easy if he thought he could get away with just that :Rofl1:

Had our neighbours in for lunch at Newark, they didn't taste 'alf bad either, but they asked why we were using the lighter for the hob. Well we're not on hook up says we, forgot the ignition button works regardless.

No doubt Eddi will find something we cant possibly live without :Rofl1: She normally does.

Have no intentions of buying any thing...........so that means I will spend a fortune on goodies I don't need :Rofl1: :Rofl1:........there is a chance my safari room might be there to pick up........so thats number 1  I nearly bought a quad bike at Newark.......but managed to talk myself out of it  but I do have an unused bike thule four bike rack for sale if any one wants it the type that fits behind the tow ball and allows a trailer to still be towed.

All the best Rick.

Nothing left!

Spent it all with RoadPro at Newark.

They have done a flipping fabulous job of installing the Camos Dome and Solar panel this week.

Can't wait to head off for Scotland next week to try them out.
