Buying a SIM card in France for a months visit?

We are in France at the moment. The Smarty card turned out to be a bit flaky in some of the places we visited so we went to LeClerc and bought a Reglo card. It's cheap 20 Euros (including 5 for the sim itself) for a month 120 gb. More than enough for us although you can buy smaller packages. They told me that after a month I could pay the 15 euros again or just stop and that's the end of the contract. We're going back across the channel at the end of June so that works for us. It's in our Hauweii 4g mifi and working brilliantly everywhere. Have fun!

I have a question though , how do you see how much data you have left / used

Normally via an app you download for most providers.

I don't know ... I haven't registered the sim or set it up to renew after one month. We have 6 days left in France and we should just about get the full month before we go. It's been very impressive - worked everywhere and often quite fast

There is a phone number "950" in the literature that came with the phone which I think tells you what you have remaining as when I tried phoning it there I made out 1 word on the automated reply and it was minutes , unfortunately for me the reply is in french and I don't speakky it

Wife just texted "hello" to 950 and after translation this is what the reply said
"reglomobike OEOO account, consider recharging for next month consumption included voice: 00:00 sms/mms: 1 and 1.5 GB from 06/20 to 06/20"

so so far we used 1.5gb in a few hrs
