High in the Brecon Beacons, one of my favourite parkups, you can see for many miles with not a building in sight

Seeing your recent postings has woken us up to the fact that we don't really know our own backyard.A lot of your great pics were taken within an hours drive or less from us.

Well get out here then If you want to meet up let me know, I could take you round the waterfalls if you like - the best route is not signposted at all, and whatever you do don't park in the expensive Forestry Commission carpark, you can park free in places that are in fact closer to the waterfalls, but then the way is not signposted cos FC don't want us to approach that way without swelling their coffers.

Your pics are certainly making me think.

Next year is an unknown, we ( that's any or all of us ) may not be able to afford to drive thousands of miles across Europe the way things are going.

So is that such a bad thing ?

Maybe not.
