I know in an ideal world all electrics would be as close as possible to the battery.
On my Bailey the battery box is in the floor and PDU etc. about 1.5m (cable length) away, in the bottom of the wardrobe.
There are 2 pairs of 16mm cable :-
1. EHU charge/off grid 12v supply (to hab. area)
2. split charge relay feed to hab battery.
As the split charge cables are a simple connector into the harness, is there any reason not to use this pair of (disconnected) cables to connect from a pair of bus bars that will have the connections for Victron IP22 battery charger (leaving old psu/charger as psu only - supply's hab area on EHU) B2B, battery maintainer AND shunt ?
This will put all the electrics in one place and make it easier to wire up.
