We have a 2020 Burstner Ixeo IT680G with a rear bathroom. We have never used the shower but nonetheless run some water through it from time to time to refresh the drain and clean the dust from the tray. Whilst doing this today I brushed over the drain with the sponge and was surprised when the drain grill came out. The grill was still attached to its plastic mounting which had broken from the bottom of its housing allowing water to escape underneath the shower tray(Estimate half Ltr. max). I'm not sure why it should have broken - either a rubbish piece of plastic or too much tension on the securing screw.
My question is Has anyone any idea how to repair this? Ideally I would like to remove the shower tray to check for water damage and replace the drain, but this looks like major surgery so any ideas would be welcome please
