Burstner Ixeo drop down bed

Hi, I am new to this forum, so here goes.
My question is, has anybody had issues with the 2018 Burstner electric drop down bed. After 2years I had a linear actuator fail and had to replace with very expensive spare. Has anybody found a better solution to what must be a common problem

I had an actuator replaced and kept and repaired the original faulty one. I spent some time searching for alternatives but the version used by Project 2000 has dimensions and mounting points that do not match any I could find. Which I found surprising considering how many suppliers of linear actuators there are out there! So far just keeping my fingers crossed.
