I got used to checking battery and charging status on our Autotrail. The control panel showed which battery was getting the solar panel output and that could be switched from hab to cab battery and vice versa. Our newish Burstner doesn’t show very much detail by comparison, just the voltage level of each battery. No indication which battery is getting solar output and no way, it seems, to change it.
Is that right? Can I prioritise charging of one or t’other batteries if one seems a bit low?

This is not really Burstner related. You need to specify your solar controller etc and then someone with the same could help.

But from the voltages you should be able to work out what is charging. Resting voltage of a full lead acid will be about 12.8v. if the sun is shining and one battery is showing more than this the that battery is being charged. Likewise if you run the engine the starter battery will show a good voltage 14.4v or so, confirmation that it's being charged

Our Burstner only charges the hab battery from solar. We have a Battery Master to top up the starter battery from the hab battery when that is full.
Look at your controller to see if it has one or two outputs connected

Thanks all. Despite what I thought was a fairly comprehensive handover, I don’t remember the solar controller and the location of the hab battery and any charging kit being mentioned and I didn’t think to ask at the time. I’ve since been through just about every space looking and haven’t spotted it yet. Darn clever these Burstner guys. I’ll keep looking.

A mains charger is often built into the 12V distribution/fusebox, and sometimes a small solar controller is built in too.

This switching between batteries for charging and hab power is a crossover from using the same distibution/fusebox for a motorhome and a caravan. Not usual on non-Brit MHs.

Look in the manual.

Where do I connect a Battery master to my Harmony 690g please enclose pics if possible. I can only see a Solar Controller in the Battery Box.

You have replied to a very old post .

But Battery Master - instructions are online but all you need is small wires to each battery. If you have a permanent live on your controller you can attach there

Quite often into the back of the distribution/fuse box. If you look you should see the connections that the charger uses to send power to the batteries. A BM has three leads. One to ground(earth) one to leisure battery positive and one to starter battery positive.

When I fitted one I could not get to the back of the box so wired it with fused wires directly to the batteries and earth.
Sorry, I don’t have photos of the distribution box.
