Morning

I’m hoping someone can help me me?

My Burstner external electric step flex when stepping on, it’s been like this since I purchased the motorhome.

I’ve noticed that when stepping on I see also the internal plastic step has movement - as I believe the external step is fixed to this ?

I’ve been underneath and tried to thigh every bolt i can see but without a resolution to the problem 🥲

It looks that the actual movement/flex is the on the plastic step shown in the photo (as again the external step is bolted to this underneath?)

More photos attached for reference

Thanks

Is the out step fixed to the bottom of the inner step, if it is and you cannot stiffen anything I would be more worried about fixings coming away from inner step.
The hinge points all wear down on the folding steps some can be repaired with new hinge inserts some the arm hole becomes elongated so nothing much can be done.
Another picture with step out but taken under the van to show the fixings

Yes the external step is fixed to the inner (plastic) step as far I can see.

The flex it’s not on the external step itself but seems more on the internal (plastic) step as if not fasten properly to the body or floor of the Moho if that makes sense ?

When I step on the external step I can some movement flex on the internal plastic step, sorry a bit hard to describe maybe I should take a video
