Bumper trouble..came off in Wales, Cardigan

Hymer b584 and I clipped a wall and rear bumper off. I've taped it back on to reach my relatives.
Nearest workshop I know of is 3S Carmarthen...does anyone know of any others ?
Being retired I didn't realise it's a bank holiday weekend šŸ˜”

We travelled with ours taped on for nearly 3 months, had to add gaffer tape as the heat melted the glue. Had it fixed when we got home.

Only three months??! My rear ā€œbumperā€ was taped up for 8 years as I was too tight to even think of paying outrageous prices for a flimsy lump of injection moulded plastic that would soon detach itself from the MH given the shoddy design of the fixings! It took me ages to source a glass fibre substitute and solid fittings - at almost half the price!

I canā€™t help with repairers but yours sounds more than a gaffer tape job.
Like others I cracked the bottom edge of our rear bumper after backing over a tree stump in Safron Walden. I now carry both black and white gaffer tape to cover most repairs.

I think my main problem is the plastic clips that hold it on have broken off and disintegrated as it's the 2nd time it's hit the floor in 4 years šŸ¤•

At the end of the day it may be an insurance job...that's why we buy it šŸ˜

Be careful with that plan, it can end up costing more in the long run.
Most bumpers can be repaired by a body shop, especially if you have all the bits (y)

Donā€™t bother with 3As as they will take forever and cost you the earth.

Stepaside Coachworks near Saundersfoot are top notch. They sorted my rear bumper on last van and sprayed it at a reasonable price. They did a cracking job.

Thought about using a few zip ties? Much better temporary solution than gaffer tape.

Check where the broken clips are, might need a couple of 4mm holes drilled in the remains of the bracket to put the zip tie through.
