Bullfinch Shower valve leaking

I have the above fitting that is leaking at the outlet a drip every second approx.
Had not used it for six years and leak started after trying and removing the shower hose.
Has anyone stripped one of these down? Hoping it maybe a dislodged O ring or similar.
any suggestion appreciated.

I would get some silicone spray and give it a dose. It really does help dry and stiff seals.

I had the same problem. Leaving shower connection in unless travelling.
Bought a new one. It’s a ball that rotates.
I had to cut the old one apart as I had to see inside !

Thanks for reply. So is there a seal or an O ring against ball.
Although from what you say it sounds as if it cannot be taken apart and re-assembled.
I have emailed the tech dept of manufacturers so will be interesting what they have to say, I doubt if it has been used more than 5 times.
