Hi folks

I may have done this wrong, just paid my membership so I can post rather than just stalk people and read their stuff, and hope this is going into the correct forum area!

Just back from a two week motorhome trip to Bulgaria - details here if you want a read https://winingpoms.travel.blog/2023/05/02/black-sea-at-last/ - there's also entries from our Slovenia trip in 2019 on there as well (https://winingpoms.travel.blog/2019/12/11/slovenia-2019/) and a 10-day trip to Spain we did last year (https://winingpoms.travel.blog/2022...of-spain-barcelona-to-busot-and-back-may2022/) Good luck...

As ever, as soon as I'm back from a holiday I start craving the next one (both OH and I are still working so time is limited, plus when we travel from here in Adelaide we have to spend a couple of weeks first catching up with family in England, which limits our touring time even more... #firstworldproblems... sob...sob...)

Next trip therefore I'm looking at Sept/Oct 2024 to Croatia and Bosnia/Herzegovina - hopefully three weeks to spend, probably picking up a hired motorhome in Rovinj (Easyjet flights from UK), and returning it to Zagreb (International flights back to Aus). Flight schedules and prices aren't out yet from Aus, so I'm just wasting lots of time googling, reading FB Group posts, and scanning my way through Park4Night entries, plus plotting on a new Google MyMap.

Anyone done something similar? Would we be trying to do too much in three weeks and better just to stick to EITHER Croatia OR BiH? Bulgaria was great, but I think maybe I wont make He-Who-Does-The-Driving move on quite so often this time.

I'm particulalry curious about how you've visited any of the Croatian islands while you've been travelling - do you take your MoHo over with you on a car ferry, or leave it parked up on the mainland and do day trips as foot passengers? I'm hoping Sept/Oct will be enough outside high season to avoid too many crowds.
