Since 1992 - managed to break most things!
Thinking of putting fitting an external shower - Can anyone tell me what hot/cold pipes Cathago C Tourer use (12mm or 15mm?) and where you can get small lengths as I think I can get unit fairly close to existing pipes ( much less than a meter ) plus any info on best connects /isolators & sealing unit to body gratefully received, Thanks

The pipes are 10mm internal dia., same in most German vans.
You can by them by the metre on ebay.

Just for the record my pipes turned out to be 15mm pipe.. does look 10/11mm internal. Had to order from Cranham leisure essex (Very Helpful) along with whale 15mm Elbow & T push fits. All I could seem to find online was 12mm pipe. Didn't want to reduce & use internal joints as thought may hinder flow. I will keep an eye on the push fits but ironically the only issue I've had so far is the jubilee fitted end to tap tail started to weep!

When you fitted the shower, did you connect the microswitch wire ? does it go to any 12v supply and did you fit a switch at all ?

If it were me, I would fit a simple rocker switch inboard (out of the weather) near the external shower point and wire a direct 12v feed to your pump via the rocker switch.

Just plumbed it into hot and cold and all just seems to work ( the microswitch wire on the kitchen tap not connected so not needed on this system)
