As title, will he ever have the No1 plate, jumping off his ZX10 at 170 mph due to front brake failure, not my idea of fun!. I wish him a speedy recovery, and better luck next year, and Hopper too.
 
Wonder how many mechanics will get the sack ;)

Clutch problems and then brake failure.

It amazed me that he wasn’t more seriously injured after that incident. Fair play to Haslam for making the effort to attend the trophy award and congratulating Shakey whilst balancing on his one remaining good leg, he could have just skulked off to his motorhome (and no one would have blamed him after that off).

If it wasn’t for the bad luck it seems he wouldn’t have any.
 
He was due to fill in for Keanan Sofuoglu for the rest of the WSS races this season as well.

Wonder what happened with his brakes ... quick-release connector, perhaps?
