I'm new
It is with a heavy heart that I'm writing the 'For Sale' ad for my beloved Bryan.
I bought him last year to have a little adventure whilst the sale of my house went through & I had a little rethink on life in general.
All I can say is it was love at first trip. He's strong, reliable, clean & everything works!
However the real world has reared it's ugly head. I've bought a new home & it's 'to do' list is the stuff of DIY SOS.
I need to buy a kitchen ( the last owners managed to take theirs with them!) & Bryan is a luxury I cannot have parked up whilst I now work full time for pennies.
so here's the spec:
Hymer B574. 2000W Fiat turbo engine. 50k on the clock. Full service history. Fixed bed & drop down (4 berth). Belly garage. Warm air central heating. Fridge runs on gas, battery or engine. Pull out awning. Swivel cab chairs. Power steering. CD player. All the usual Hymer quality & reliability.
I'm no photographer, but here's the general idea.....07713 889979......£16k

Yes. Very similar (except for the funky velour) thanks Minxy

That's a lovely looking van. I'm gutted I can no longer drive a motorhome :(
Wishing you a quick sale and much happiness in your new home.

Very nice, and this does look priced to sell(y):)

Sadly Bryan hasn't sold.
What am I doing wrong ?

Have you tried advertising it on the Hymer Owners Group or Classic Hymer on Facebook. I appreciate you might not be on Facebook but it might be worth joining, adding yourself to these two groups, and advertise the van. Then once it's sold, just withdraw from Facebook and the two groups?

Other than that I can't see the problem, looks like a nice van at a good price.

Good luck with the sale.

Try the ad on here again I'm sure someone was looking the other week at up to 20k

May be me but I can't see what year it is?

Ah yes misread that, thought it was the engine size :ROFLMAO: blonde moment

Seen the ad on Hymer Owners Group, good luck!

No. A lot interested, but no money forthcoming. I'm going to fetch him down to Devon for the autumn/winter.

Ebay may be worth a try, I have just sold a van on it, hassle free aswell.
I'm currently looking for a camper for my mother in law but unfortunately her budget is £10000 and it has to be under 5M and my first port of call was Ebay.
Good luck as it looks a lovely van and very reasonably priced

If you need a chauffeur I'm available, I'd be very cheap (well Hazel says that I'm very cheap) & willing to sleep in the garage??? Oh I can cook too & I'm housetrained, I even leave the toilet seat down, can't say fairer than that? :dance2:

Thanks for that. I've trimmed & trimmed the price for folk & the next one just wants more off! I'm pretty disheartened by it all

Thanks Millie
I'll give them a go!
Classic Hymer doesn't cover ads but it's sister site Hymermarket does.

I think it is very sensibly priced. I would post an ad on The Hymermarket Facebook page.
https://m.facebook.com/groups/684866674946777?ref=bookmarks (It's the sister page to Classic Hymer which doesn't allow ads)

Someone has just posted the link to your ad on Hymermarket but you will get more attention if you post your own ad on the page. I'd be surprised if you didn't find a buyer there. Best of luck.

I'm already on there, but thank you for the help. Just a lot of interest but no takers!

I've just seen it. Good ad. I think it will do well, just needs a bit of time.

Hi @Anthea M I have been looking at the Bryan ad since it was first listed and it would be absolutely ideal for me except for one thing, I need it to be left hand drive.

I have looked and looked at the photos to try and make the steering wheel go the other side but it just stays put.

I am amazed that it has not sold, it looks good, the price is good and by the sound of it it is well advertised.

Thank you for thinking of me.

Good luck to the seller, I wish I knew why it has not sold.

Cleve if you invert the photo... tadah!
LHD.
I'm sorry too. Never mind eh!
Good luck with your search tho
