Bessacarr E460
Good morning all, first post for me, my 2011 Bessacarr does not have a reversing camera , I've seen from other posts that the grey cover under the reversing light is difficult to remove so does anyone know if the wiring is fitted as standard even if the camera isn't so I don't go destroying the cover for no reason.
Thanks.

Hello again I've dug around and after removing the upper glove compartment
(Ducato base vehicle) that's the one on top of the dashboard I fount a 6pin din which goes I think with the Sargent camera system, there is also the same kind of wire disappearing up the nearside rear Pillar so I'm assuming it is going up to the high level brake light / camera assembly cover. Sorry I called this a reversing light in my last post. The wiring doesn't help me as I have bought a cheap Chinese multimedia player with camera which is now installed. Good tip for a 2011 Ducato, To get a video wire from the cab and run under the vehicle, remove the aforementioned glove compartment and look for the bonnet release wire. You can drill a hole from the engine side just above and to the left of where it passes through the bulkhead (13mm to accept a rubber grommet) and pull the wire through. Bit of a faff with the insulation on the bulkhead. You will have to find the reversing light wiring down the back to get a trigger and power supply, on mine it is an orange supply and white earth. So basically even though it is not fitted there is camera wiring in my Bessacarr E460 and it looks like installed from new but the type of camera it is designed for is expensive.

Hi I have an E460 with a reversing camera.
There are actually 2 cams one long view to the rear, and another pointing directly down.
These are placed in a pod right at the top rear. The central rear view mirror, I have a rear u shape lounge with a rear window. Has two small screens built in and activate when reverse gear is selected.
I spent a couple of years living in a van in Europe. I fitted a reversing camera in that van. I brought a new cheap one off Ebay that had a WiFi camera I just wired the camera up to the reversing light. Never had any trouble with it at all.
Hope this helps
