We have managed to smash the glass lid on our 3 burner hob in our Pilote G600, has anyone managed to do the same and found a replacement?

and ouch. But this has happened many times before. An of-mentioned solution is to get a local glass company to cut one from tempered smoked glass. Another solution is to replace with wood to make a chopping board. I will go down that route if it happens to me.

Plenty on eBay, depends on shape of glass but around £200

A new lid for my caprice hob was £30 in tempered glass from a local glass (window) manufacturer.

I’m hoping to never smash mine but as a precaution I covered it in a ‘Fablon’ type stick backed plastic it has saved it getting scratched and hopefully has given it a bit more protection!
