Hi all, I'm not asking for weather forecast or prediction but for those who have been in and around Brittany late September, is the weather still decent?

I hope so because we'll hopefully be heading that way around then :giggle:

Was last year.... but who knows what the jetstream will bring us....

It was when we were there in 2019. South coast consistently warmer than the north coast.

We were there by late last September , weather was nice but cold in the shade, so sitting out after around 4pm became more like uk 😉
If you can park or get a pitch in the sun it will be great.
We moved south after 2 weeks it was nice but we needed some heat 🤗

When we used to sail, the perceived wisdom was that once you got south of the Pointe de Penmarc'h you were in a sort of micro-climate. The weather is generally balmy in September, though towards the end the evenings get a bit cool.

With places like Britanny, Normandy, Northern Spain, Northern bit of Portugal its usually a good idea to have a back up
plan. If you're ok on Aires( Britanny has some very nice ones) then no need to book anything and don't commit to a return ferry too far over. We rarely book the return until a few days before.
