I was looking forward to sharing codes and raking in the rewards and then I read this in the Club Voyage terms and conditions (I have emphasised the relevant phrases in bold):
Friends and family rewards
Friends and family discounts are designed to be used by those close to you as an added value benefit of membership. Promoting or advertising this membership benefit via websites, internet forums and elsewhere is strictly prohibited, and considered a breach of your membership.- For members who joined on or after 16 November 2021, discounts are limited to 8 bookings per membership (a maximum credit accruable £80 per annum, allocated when you renew your membership)
- For members who joined before 16 November 2021, discounts are limited to 15 bookings per membership (a maximum credit accruable £150 per annum, allocated when you renew your membership)

Yes thanks, not keen on the long crossing now due to it taking longer so won’t renew, we used to do Plymouth Santander in October and back in March but those days are now behind us.
We collect enough Tesco points to get a fee crossing so might as well use them If we can do it next year.

I don't really check to be honest, but I do remember 2 or three years ago maybe longer, when I renewed membership for the umpteenth time, the joint membership was split in two, with my wife being allocated her own number and me mine, not that it makes any difference as we still attract 33% discount as full members , and its 70 quid a year renewal I think.
The voucher thing was limited at the same time to a max of 150, I think, (not sure if it applies to both and not really concerned either) but you could still exceed 15 trips using your number to obtain the 10% discount, (without any benefit to you) especially (I assume) if you have a large family and close circle of friends

Thank you for bringing this to the attention of Funsters.
On 'Fun', it has always been the case that to Advertise ones membership of this discount is 'Bad Form'
However, could I draw your attention to the words used by BF themselves, ie. "Promoting or advertising this membership benefit is prohibited etc etc".
No one on here habitually advertises or promotes that benefit and, if they did, they deserve to lose their membership of the scheme.

Yes there would as anyone who had renewed before that date and paid the higher fee would be somewhat miffed if on the 16th November the benefits were reduced.
Perhaps if someone who has renewed after the 16th November could let us know if the benefits, and fees, stayed the same

Be quick. I spoke with BF Santander this morning to see if I could bring forward my booking of 22/3 to be told that there were no availabilities before then. Asked to be put on contact list should there be a cancellation and an hour ago the lovely lady phoned me to confirm that she had booked me on an earlier sailing cencelled by another mh.

Thanks - I get that but do wonder if it is in the spirit of the Club Voyage terms and conditions to give out a code to anyone who asks on this forum, irrespective of whether you know them personally or not? Personally I think it probably isn't but I guess it is up to each individual to decide what is correct or not in this case . . . .

I renewed mine on the 21st Oct and also got the old benefits for another year but what happens after that?
I don't think that I made this plain in my original post!

Before renewing in December I checked with BF and was told that I would keep the old discounts as long as I renewed my membership before it expired each year.

My understanding is that (Brittany Ferries' right to change the terms and conditions notwithstanding) provided you renewed before your existing membership was due to expire, you would retain your "old" terms and conditions. Only members joining after 16th November will get the "new" conditions. There are other posts that confirm this.
