Brittany ferries, Portsmouth - Santander/ bilbao

After much deliberation/ apprehension decided to go for it! Only done a Germany trip so far, speaking German helped. But going to Portugal via northern Spain for 3 weeks, late May/June’ish.
looking at booking Brittany ferries Portsmouth, but undecided Bilbao or Santander, any advice from seasoned travellers gratefully received. Noticed berths on Santander route only offered 4 berth cabins, we’re only 2.?
And being really cheeky - anyone got a friends/family discount they would like to share please? Noticed someone took umbrage at this kind of request, but hey-ho, each to their own. Love this forum.

Always best to book 4 berth, two berth cabins you could be in bunk beds. No difference between Santander and Bilbao.
