Does anyone know if it is ok to park in Plymouth Ferry Port overnight? Thanks.

Once the last ferry goes they always have let you sleep, they will knock you up early

I assume that you will be catching the early morning ferry.

If that is so and providing that things haven't changed, as you approach the area for pre boarding admin.
you can drive into a lane (there will most likely be vehicles of all types there,) park up behind a vehicle
of the same type if possible, ie. motorhome and that's about it.

In the morning, it is not unusual for a member of the BF staff to come along the line and give you
a 'Knock up' They will likely tell you which lane to move to as well.

PS. Send me a Conversation. I have further info. re the area where the port is.

Somewhat tangentially we used to stop in the port at Ouistreham at night once the last ferry had departed but, once the town became affected by young would-be immigrants, Brittany Ferries rather perversely advised me that it was no longer possible. The aire adjacent was very vulnerable so we opted to find an aire away from the port.

If not there's a good stop a few miles from Plymouth, big layby on the south side of the A38. Very safe, used by plenty truckers.
