Hi on my 2010 RHD Peugeot Boxer (Euro 4 Version) the inner knob on the vent switch that allows you to change from air recirculate to air intake has broken.

It used to turn with some resistance and make a nice thunk when you changed from one setting to the other.

Recently it stopped thunking and turns with virtually no resistance at all.

I was wanting to get in behind the knob to see if it was fixable but can’t work out how easy or hard it is to get too.

Does anyone know if large chunks of the dash have to be removed to get to it ?

It is the inner switch part (not the outer dial) that has stopped working - see highlighted part on (hopefully) attached photo.

Thanks

afraid no idea but I would start by taking the radio and storage thing below it out. Worth getting a torch in to have a look for hidden clips

Found this on YouTube - looks quite a job to get access to the switches. Best of luck.

I think that I would have left it. I couldn’t cope with all those bits and what order to put them back. I would have had loads leftover 😂
