Boxer based mirror aerial?

I managed to break the left mirror - 2019 Peugeot Boxer based Elddis. I currently have the OEM DAB radio fitted.

Have ordered a replacement from Amazon. These pattern parts come with the electric mirror adjustment but no aerial.

Has anyone successfully moved the aerial from the OEM to the new one or perhaps fitted a new windscreen stuck DAB aerial instead?

This shows the placement of the DAB aerial inside the mirror housing at the top. It is held in place by plastic welded rivets.

Are you sure its not just the rear housing thats smashed as per the video link above. The internals are mounted in front of the casing.

It's both the arms that have the outer covers smashed and the back of the mirror is completely cracked and there's a half-crown sized hole. The glass is star-cracked. The radio still works but the electric adjustment has had it.

Subsequent question..

Is the aerial a separate cable to the electric adjust cable? Not taken it to pieces yet....

Finally did the mirrors and re-sited the aerial in to the new left mirror.

Opted for short arm instead of the standard long arms. Still have a perfect rear vision with them. Bonus the van is now 8 inches narrower....

Next Father Christmas (never Santa in this house!!) might bring some protectors. The Milenco one on the broken left one actually flew off!!!!
