Hi can anyone recommend any over night stops Bordeaux to Malaga via Madrid. Is this the best route or should I go Zaragoza then head for AP7. Advice appreciated. Thanks

A vote here for the Zaragoza municipal site. We are leaving Malaga tomorrow and are going to pick an aire just north of Jaen. I can let you know what that is like if you want when we arrive.
Safe travels

There is also a place we stay in Jaen itself. Huge parking area on the outskirts with normally very few cars but usually a few large motorhomes. No facilities but next to the police station and we feel safe. Jaen is a great city with not too many tourists

That is worth bearing in mind for a future trip, thanks. We need to make it a couple of hours further North as we would like a reasonable drive the next day to Zaragoza.

A nice aire in Pamplona within walking distance of centre made us a lovely stop would have liked longer
Hi, we travel that route frequently and go via Pamplona, Valladolid and Zafra. All have great aires a short walk in to the city, each city having a completely different feel to one another. However all worth an evening stroll and some fine tapas!!

Hi
Done both ways, not much between the two routes, Zamora and Caceres are a must if you go Pamplona Valladolid route, and the other route Zaragoza then south to Murcia via Valencia, Los Alcazares, and then onto AP7 or N340
