Hi anyone fitted a bonnet bra to there Peugeot boxer Bailey Autograph, if so which is the best one to buy and where from , Thank you in advance…..

Years ago I fixed a bonnet bra to my Peugeot boxer PVC. It looked good but my local garage advised me not to leave it on all the time as it would damage the paintwork. Because of that I removed it and didn’t use again. It was something to do with trapped rain and then heat.
I recall I bought mine at one of the Warner shows.

Hi. I bought one to cover a badly chipped/scratched bonnet on my ducato. Had it on 4 years & it didn’t cause any problems. Looked great too.
Bought off eBay from Germany. Wasn’t cheap but definitely worth it. Fitted very well.

I have a bonnet bra on our 2013 Peugoet Boxer as it was the easiest and cheapest way to cover some damage to our bonnet.
It's a good quality with a nice snug and wrinkle free tight fit. The material has a soft furry backing to stop it rubbing the paint.

Here's a link to the same firm that I bought ours from, but to suit your later van.

Not something I would fit personally, seen too many scratches caused by them.

You can buy a non aggressive clear film that will protect your bonnet.

Lots of people who show their cars use it to drive to the shows after detailing at home 👍

Our lease car in the US was fitted with the clear film which worked great and when removed left no residue. The installer did the mirrors and front grille also. About $300 back then but was done by a specialist.

I have just removed ours from our new to us VW camper and will NOT be putting it back on.
Too much moisture trapped underneath , and it was a really good fit, but it had obviously been sweating.
The bonnet underneath is not bad but will require some work at sometime to attend to some surface minor scratches, and paint bubbling so when that time arises I will either respray in the whole van colour, or if detail contrast is the way, then black, same as the bonnet bra was.
Or I might even have the bonnet 'wrapped'.
