Bonfire/fireworks meet 24/10 - 27/10

Thought it would be nice to have a bonfire/fireworks meet Friday Oct 24th - Monday October 27th at:

Bo Peep Caravan Park Ltd.
Aynho Road, Adderbury, Banbury, Oxon. OX17 3NP
Tel / Fax: 01295 810605
Fireworks on the saturday night!


I have reserved 10 pitches for us, so please let me know if you would like one. Cost is £15 per night with electric for two adults.
This is half term for us, so a 3 night break!!

The park actually shuts on the monday for the year, but if you wish to extend your stay at the beginning, please let me know.

The local village of Adderbury boasts some five hostelries, all of which serve good food and ale, including the local speciality “Hooky” beer brewed at the Hook Norton Brewery.
Excellent meals are available at all these Inns ranging from simple bar meals to speciality menus often featuring fresh, local produce.

Shops include an excellent butcher and general store plus a hairdresser.

About the site:
Privately owned and managed
Half mile driveway from the road
Beautiful quiet location in 84 acres, well drained, fine views
104 large and varied grass pitches in four areas each with differing characters
All electric 16 amp hook-ups
Separate 4 acre field for tents
Plenty of picnic tables for your use
Shop (8am to 6pm) with gas and daily papers
Two heated toilet blocks with showers
Two fully equipped Laundry Rooms
Two Vegetable Preparation areas
Excellent TV reception
Internet access
Information Centre and Payphones
Four miles of circular walks
Dogs welcome on leads
Pitches reserved for Late Arrivals
Caravan storage area with over 150 bays
RV’s welcome - emptying point available
Car/Caravan Washing Bay with power washer

I will liase with the site for bookings to make it easier.
I have reserved ten pitches, but will amend the numbers accordingly.
Apparently they forecast no pitches available by the end of may.......

sounds good to me. are the fireworks on the site or do i bring my car with me

No its not user interface Doug, it would be helpful if the meets could be reinstated, as has the Bubble car meet I was down for some of them but made no notes and relied on the calender as i couldn't for see them falling off

We were down for this too as its only 20 miles away and weekends away when we aren't working are few and far between :RollEyes:

The Bubble Car meet and all other meets, Gaydon etc as arranged are going ahead. I did post a message last week about this. PM for details if required. The meets were removed from the calendar when Kands and RockieRV became ex-members but are nonetheless going ahead as arranged.

I can't personally quite understand the dynamics that mean the meets had to be removed from the calendar as numerous current site members are involved and hence in the dark about the meets, but I suppose such issues are far too complicated for mere mortals to understand :Sad:

Ahhh, that explains it! All of the posts were lost when the forum was hacked.

Still unclear why the meets were deleted from the calendar.....particularly as they all involve numerous members of this forum. Very odd. :Eeek:

The bubble car meet is in the calendar see Link Removed This meet was not deleted because there were a few funsters booked on it.

Nothing odd about the other meets being deleted They were put up by RockieRV. They all had 1 or none attending and as Rockie RV is no longer members they were deleted. simple as that.:Smile:

Quite a few interested in the bubble car meet. Perhaps the list is better moved to that thread?

all expressed at least an interest. Is that enough for it to remain on the calendar?
