Hi All
I have had a bracket come off our Moho and left this blue pipe dangling on the floor. It come from the fresh water tank and I thought it was the overflow but it appears to come from the bottom of the tank. Any ideas?

Supply to van water system, or drain, but can’t think why the would run a drain along

Looks like the fresh water empty pipe.

Have you never emptied the fresh water tank?
If not, I suggest you empty the system totally and clean it with citric acid and have a clean start.

If you already have an outlet to empty the tank then this one could be used to back flush with a hosepipe

I normally empty the tank from the internal bung. The bracket has come off somewhere along the road so not sure if there was a tap. I can easily fit one if needed.

An exposed pipe like that is just asking to freeze and split and coming directly from the bottom of the tank that is asking for trouble.

That is how it came with the van. Not ideal I agree

Sorry I don't quite understand this thread!
Are saying this is an open pipe with no fittings , and that you "think" it comes from your fresh water tank..?
If you can easily fit a tap If required... what is stopping your tank draining thru this pipe. You also say you drain through a bung which is separate to this pipe..
Could this possibly be an extension drain pipe from somewhere else.... For example water heater !

Looked at photo again.. sorry, yes I can see it does come from the bottom of you fresh water tank.
So can I please introduce another theory (Assuming nobody beat me to it)
Yes comes from bottom of tank,,,, but could this be your overflow with pipe going thru tank and then 90deg up to top of tank.? Possibly?

Yes I think you are correct in that it is an overflow from the fresh tank. I have not lost water through it so it’s not a drain.
